You integrate with the protocol exactly once. After that, any number of customers, suppliers and partners connect the same way: wherever their system runs, in-house or not. Everyone speaks the same protocol; being able to talk is only one door away.
🕊️ No one can lock you in
Your identity comes from your own domain. Like e-mail, you can host at any hub, move away at any time: the other side won't even notice: or run your own hub, even run it as a business. The hub protocol is open; every protocol inside it is open too, commercial use included. No one can lock you in: you belong to yourself.
🔐 Your data is yours alone
Everything travels end-to-end encrypted: hubs never see your data: not even what kind of data it is. Everything lives in the two systems at the ends; a hub is a courier, not a warehouse. Imagine that: every chat, task and document with your customers stays in your system: not on some chat platform.
🕶️ Private by design
The other side's hub doesn't know who you really are; no hub knows what you send, not even the type. Connections are invitation-only: no door, no delivery: so there is no spam, no phishing. And you can revoke any connection at any time.
🛡️ Your system stays closed
Once connected, your system needs no public IP, no open ports, accepts no inbound requests: just one outbound connection to your hub. A VPN hands out network passes; a public API hangs a door on the internet; JyHub has no door at all: only a mailbox. Cryptography is standard building blocks only, algorithms fixed, no downgrade. And there is a fixed protocol but no fixed implementation: little for attackers to aim at.
vs. HTTPS APIs
HTTPS encrypts the road: your data is plaintext the moment it reaches their server, and every pair of companies still hand-builds auth, retries, receipts and formats. JyHub encrypts the letter itself, and delivery, invitations and receipts come built in.
vs. E-mail
JyHub replaces the half of e-mail you were forced into: formal traffic between known partners. That half gets bound identities, verifiable receipts and structured data instead of free text: and spam simply cannot exist here.
vs. Signal / Matrix
They secure people chatting; JyHub connects systems doing business. Members are companies, not employees: hiring and phone changes are nobody's protocol event. Rooms are invisible to hubs, and your identity is your domain, not your server.
vs. Blockchain
Consensus is for strangers who trust nobody: your counterpart is someone you already do business with. Federation delivers the real goal, no lock-in, without paying for consensus. Nobody sends e-mail on a blockchain.
vs. Tor & anonymity networks
JyHub is not an anonymity net: it is minimal disclosure between named parties. Hubs see who-with-whom (honestly declared) but never the content, not even its type: unlinkable aliases outside, full accountability inside.
